by admin team on January 16, 2009

The U.S. Department of Agriculture establishes the eligibility for the SNAP program.  Eligibility for benefits is based on resources, income and other requirements such as residence, citizenship or eligible non-citizen status, and cooperation with the Department of Economic Security employment and training program.  In addition, household members must provide or apply for a Social Security Number

Individuals or families may apply for SNAP at local offices throughout the state.  For a listing of offices by city and zip codes, please visit www.azdes.gov/faa or call the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System at (602) 542-9935 for area codes 602, 480 or 623 or call 1-800-352-8401 for all other area codes

Applications picked up at a DES/FAA Office, downloaded from the DES/FAA website www.azdes.gov/faa
