Thanks to Walmart – More Hungry Arizona Children Fed This Summer

walmartThe Arizona Partnership to End Childhood Hunger has received a $25,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation with the sole purpose of feeding more Arizona children this summer.
  
In July, the Partnership distributed all of these funds to the following twenty two community organizations:

Crossroads Nogales Rescue Mission
Food Services Litchfield Elementary School
Graham County Interfaith Care Alliance
Kingman Aid to Abused People

Our Family Services Inc
Paz de Cristo
Phoenix Rescue Mission
Pio Decimo Center
PREHAB of Arizona/New Leaf
Rio Vista Center
Southeast Arizona Food Bank
St. Anne’s Mission
The Valley Food Box
TMM Family Services Inc
Verde Food Council/Cornucopia Community Advocates
Waste Not Inc
Wesley Community Center

Walmart Foundation has directed the Partnership, and therefore each of the sub-awardees, to use these funds to feed children before September 30, 2009.
